TWO ISLAND MARRIED GYMS

APPEARANCE - LOCATION - BASICS

Located at Two Island in the Sevii Island chain, the Two Island Married Gyms (shortened to 'Two Island Gym') is a curious structure in that it is functionally two gyms in one; as well as the home of Jolyne and Carly's Photo Gallery (and farm). While on Two Island itself, one can access a path that moves behind Carly's Photo Studio & Ice Cream Stand- this path in turn leads to a bridge spanning between Two Island, and its small, formerly uninhabited islet. It is the middle of this bridge, which acts as the Gym- massive, and literally half submerged in water, the entire place is set up to change according to certain days of the week.

No matter the day however, customer enjoyment is not lost. The upper floor, protected and shaded in part by a mesh of glass tunnels within which magikarp can be seen swimming through, alternates between acting as a stage for local market sales, and a series of stands upon which battles can be watched from. Moving below through the stairs located at either point connecting to the bridge takes one to the Art Gallery in the meantime- with walls covered in various photos, occasional seats provided for people to enjoy the pictures there...or of course, the sight of the pokemon out in the sea. Where the tubes above the waterline allow fish pokemon to swim through for a taste of the above, the gallery below is formed of various tubes and walk-ways to allow the opposite for visitors.

CHALLENGE INFORMATION

The Two Island Gym has two challenges; on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, Carly will be hosting her Gym Challenge; a barrier will erect itself at the far end of the marketplace area, blocking the Gyarados-mouthed stairway that leads to the islet and forcing trainers to enter through the one nearest Two Island. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, Jolyne will host however, and trainers will be able to simply walk through the stands and across the bridge to the arena on the islet. Both badges, while individual in their own right, can notably be linked together to form a complete shape.

CARLY - THE LOVE BADGE
*
JOLYNE - THE WAR BADGE
- The Love Badge resembles a betta fish, with fins curling curiously inward akin to one half of a 'yin-yang' style circle. The Betta is printed in simple prismatic blue, showing hues of green and pink given the light and rimmed with metal. When linked with the War Badge, the fins click over parts of the bird.

Challengers who obtain this badge will also obtain a cash prize of 10,000P, along with the Shed Shell- an item that allows pokemon to withdraw from battle regardless of trapped conditions and abilities.
- The War Badge resembles a hummingbird, wings and beak turned inward to loosely form part of a 'yin yang' circle. The bird is printed in prismatic green, showing hues of orange and red depending on the light, rimmed with metal. When linked with the Love badge, the beak and wings overlap across the betta.

Challengers who obtain this badge will also obtain 10,000P in cash prize, alongside the Expert Belt- an item that empowers supereffective moves.
Challengers for Carly's badge will find themselves facing no Pokemon Challenge. Instead, one of Carly's pokemon will greet the challenger at the base of the entrance, notably carrying a key. This key is the only way through the exit stairway, and therefore the only way to reach Carly for her badge. Challengers must somehow befriend, or convince the pokemon to otherwise part with their key, without battling them; if a battle starts, the pokemon knows to run and hide somewhere else in the gallery maze.

Upon reaching Carly, she will be seated simply in a chair under a sun umbrella on the arena platform, likely working on paperwork. The badge will be passed to the Trainer for simply reaching her.
Challengers for Jolyne's badge will experience a unique challenge that cannot- and in fact will not- be defeated by level alone. Challengers for the badge are able to immediately access the arena on the islet- which can arrange itself to include obstacle pillars, or similar furnishings, to further enhance a battle. Jolyne will, according to the levels of the challenging team, either set a time limit that they must remain within the arena for OR simply call for a 'fight to the finish'; which means either knocking her own pokemon from the arena, or causing them to faint.

Upon stating the level ranges of the challenging pokemon and receiving this challenge, Jolyne will then bring forward a team of level 100 pokemon, determined according to the challenger. It is, after all, not a battle meant to be won- but rather, withstood.

PLOTTING & CHALLENGES

For those who wish to challenge either of the Gym Leaders, the hours of the Gym are 11AM to 9PM, and the Gym is entirely closed on Sundays. Challengers should fill in the following form, with results determined given actions the characters will be taking. This form may also be used to request IC threads for the challenges, which will be arranged accordingly.
